Not for meMy expectation of a tennis shoe might be different from yours but I’ll tell you why this doesn’t work for me. And first of all I had been using ASICS Gel Resolution until the latest edition dropped the ball. These are good the first few hours you play. Then the soles get too slick and don’t give good traction. That alone is a deal breaker. Then as you have to stop hard the shoe moves a little and the hardness of the wood interior becomes painfully evident. Another deal breaker. Fila has made good shoes previously, but I won’t be buying these again.
One of the best to dateI have had these shoes for about four months and unfortunately saw wear but the six month outsole guarantee got me a new pair. I have been an ASICS FF3, Nike Vapor 11, and Nike Cage buyer up until now, and the FF3 and Cage were my favorites until I tried out the Mondo Forza’s. I love the low to the ground feel and the booty is snug and feels great. I will stick with these as long as they stay in stock. I have used them on hard and clay. I am a 5.5+ and pretty tough on shoes.
