Experienced players looking for surgical control on full swings will love this one
Used by ATP phenom Daniil Medvedev Razor Soft offers polyester players a phenomenal hitting experience, one that puts the surgical control and spin-friendly precision of the original Razor Code into a slightly more forgiving package. Razor Soft's magic comes in part from a high modulus polyester (used in the original Razor Code). This material compound gives it the kind of control that enables aggressive players to execute their biggest, most ambitious strokes without fear of overhitting (and it also helps explain why a player like Medvedev prefers it). To help with feel and comfort, Tecnifibre infuses the core with a flexible polyurethane, giving it a slight boost in pocketing over the original Razor Code. Ultimately this is one of the best options for experienced players looking for maximum control on full swings. The fact that Razor Soft's playability lasts longer than many competing strings is a very nice bonus.

4.5 Stars4.0/4.5 all-court player, strung this at 51lbs in my Yonex Vcore Pro 97D 320. I have about 10 hours on court with this string so far and I must admit it is quite good. The feeling on contact is exactly how I would define “comfortably crisp.” The response is very controlled, has good pocketing, and is very spin-friendly (for a round poly) when needed. Zero discomfort in my wrist or arm. Tension maintenance has been fantastic thus far. Oh, and I really enjoy the sound from the string bed with this one. I really don't have any complaints (maybe the price) but you get what you pay for.
Pocketing and ControlExcellent string that likes to pocket the ball without feeling mushy. 'Soft' might be a little misleading, but it's a very comfortably, solid feel and was easy on my arm. Amazing at directional control and help make you feel like you're not overhitting. It was amazing when you're hitting running forehands like Medvedev. Easily a switch from razor code. Highly recommend this to players that like to redirect the ball and feel in control.
Much stiffer than expectedPros: Great combination of power + control, decently spinny for a round string
Cons: Super stiff/boardy even at a lower tension (49) - This honestly felt more stiff than normal razor code, gave me a tinge of arm pain which is not normal for me, and really did not have any feel. Maybe my least favorite Tecnifibre string

I LOVE THIS STRINGI love this string. Previously used Solinco Confidential, strung at 43lbs (been using this set up for almost 2 years). It was by happenstance that I switched to this string, I wanted to restrung my rackets but the club doesn’t carry Solinco, so I look at their selection and see Razor Code Soft and thought “Huh, isn’t this the string Daniil is promoting”. Decided to try it (strung at 48 lbs). Ended up REALLY REALLY liking it. I can swing out and the ball would stay in, there’s so much hang time on the strings that I feel confident imparting extra spins on my shots (be it groundies, volleys or serve). This is crazy TALK but the feeling reminded me of Kevlar (I grew up playing with it and it has this similar metallic feeling) BUT without the jarring feedback, this string is SOFT. I think this string is for players who wants more control, who LOVE to swing out AND want COMFORT. I can’t say it enough but this is a damn good string.

The Evolution of PolyMaybe the best combination of comfort, durability and adequate spin that I've ever experienced in a poly string. It's not a spin monster at all, but there's plenty there when you need it if you've got the technique. 40+ court hours at a much higher tension than I would normally string a poly and this one is still very much responsive and more importantly, it's been easy on the arm. There's some power there as well...more so than a typical poly, especially as the string opens up. There's good feel around the net, too. I really like this string. Strung at 53 mains/51 crosses.
Great Control StringI purchased these strings as part of the launch for $4.00 a set. Very glad that I did because these are excellent strings. I have my own stringer and experiment with different strings on a regular basis and can say these would be in my rotation but for the price. These strings remind me of Tier One Black Knight. They are comfortable, consistent and provide exceptional control. In fact, I would say these are some of the best control strings I have played with over the years. Spin and power are moderate insofar as you can produce both with these strings, but I would not characterize them as adding to what a player normally can produce on his or he own. These strings provide a very consistent response. Balls do not trampoline off the string bed but rather provide more precision than most strings on the market. If you are looking for a comfortable control-oriented string, definitely give these a try.
Now for the downside, the price. While I really liked these strings and would continue to use them in the future, the price, in my opinion, is prohibitive. I tend to cut my strings out after 5-6 matches. There are similar products on the market that are 50% cheaper.
Reduce the price to $12.50 a set (same price as Hyper -G or Confidential) and I would buy more in the future.
